This first volume covers the history of Douglas and its associate companies, and details all of its aircraft up to the 1967 merger with McDonnell. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. 617 pages.

Board edges lightly rubbed. Text block lightly browned. Endpapers lightly imprinted with printers ink from dustwrapper flaps. Else contetns clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine and has some creasing of the laminate, corners lightly rubbed.
