Very good condition. The second of the two volumes making up the trilogy of The Ring Of The Niblung. Brown cloth, gilt decorations to spine and front cover. 30 magnificent tipped-in colour plates which display the Germanic inspiration evident in Rip and Midsummer Night's Dream and continuing through Undine and the Wagner books. Orange and cream pictorial endpapers. Top edge brown. 182 pages.
Spine bumped and faded. Tiny booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Heavy foxing and page browning affects tissue-guards and text pages but not plates which are all fine. One tissue-guard is a little creased with slightly ragged lower edge.
