Very good condition. Large format. Brown cloths, gilt titles and decorations. Trade editions. Both titles include beautiful tipped-in colour plates with captioned tissue-guards; Siegfried: 30 plates and Rhinegold: 34 plates. Both texts are in play format. First published in 1910 and 1911. This set makes a complete version of 'The Ring of the Niblung'.
Bumping and wear to corners and spines of both volumes. Very uneven fading to The Rhinegold volume; spine looks almost cream. Some spotting to covers. All plates in both volumes are present. Some foxing and page browning. Contained in a custom-made slip case that is brown and in very good condition; just a few light marks.
