Spine slightly bumped, corners very lightly rubbed. Extremely pale page edge browning (hardly noticeable). Dustwrapper is just slightly rubbed at corners. A super copy of the first edition.

  • In a borough of London called Deptford there lives a community of mice. An old, empty house was their first home, and in it they fashioned a comfortable life for themselves. The only blight on their carefree existence was the sewers - or rather the rats that lived in them. Cut-throats and pirates the lot of them. Thin and ugly, a rat would smack his lips at the thought of Mouse for dinner.
  • The story of the Deptford Mice and their epic struggle with the rats and their unseen but frightful overlord Jupiter. It is a tale of magic, murder and heroism, of half-starved slave armies and desperate clashes underground.
