Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. For their summer holiday the Branxome children exchange boats with Swedish friends and, aboard the Anka, set out to cross Sweden by river, lake and canal. The holiday has hardly begun when the mysterious behaviour of a man aboard a fishing boat arouses their curiosity. Tan boards with black titles and small vignette to spine. B/w illustrations. 233 pages.
Spine lightly bumped and small bump to bottom edge of rear cover. Small white mark to outside edge of front cover. Light browning to endpapers and 1"faint blue line to front endpaper. Foxing to text block, mainly top edge. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with slight loss from bottom of front panel. Spine lightly browned, rear panel grubby/foxed. Revised price sticker to front flap.
