Good condition in a good dustwrapper. An exciting story set in the Elizabethan period, Robert's ships foil a Papist plot to free Mary Queen of Scots from imprisonment in Wales. Red boards, gilt title to spine. B/w text illustrations.

Ex-lib with labels, stamps and other library marks to preliminary pages. Spine and corners bumped, small faded patch at top of spine. Light tape mark to lower edge of front cover. Some brown marks (splash marks?) to front endpapers, also half-title. Textblock is just a little grubby. Dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss at top of spine which is also faded and also have a patch of surface paper damage to base. Old tape to edges on verso has yellowed causing discolouration on front edges. Barcode label to rear panel of wrapper.
