Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The mystery begins on a foggy morning, one summer in the eighteenth century, when the strange Roger Kappen in thrown up on the beach of a Cornish village, bound and gagged. There is something sinister about the newcomer. Blue cloth covers with silver titles to spine. B/w illustrations. 192 pages.
Light fading to top and bottom edge of spine. Erased pencil writing and grubby mark to top edge of front endpaper. Light browning to endpapers. A couple of grubby marks to contents and text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn especially at ends of spine and folds.
