Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. 8.75 x 10.5 ins. Green boards with black illustration on front board, black title to spine. Beautifully and extensively illustrated in colour and b/w. An Edwardian tale of six boys taken by their respective aunts on a picnic on an island in a lake ... and what goes wrong!
SIGNED by author on title page, dedication from author on front endpaper. Spine and corners bumped. Bump to lower edge of rear cover and a few bumps along rear edge of spine. Small, very light circular indentation to rear cover. Tiny ink mark to front endpaper otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a small tear at base of spine. Corresponding marks on wrapper to bumps previously mentioned. Rear panel and flaps are slightly browned.
