Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Red boards, black titles and vignette. 8 yellow and black illustrations. 191 numbered pages.

Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Name and address in ink to front endpaper. Couple of small stains to top edge of text block. Light foxing, mainly to endpapers and text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn with chipping to ends of spine and folds. Rear panel grubby, grubby fingermarks to rear flap. Light foxing to verso.

  • Biggles get suspicious over a series of robberies that could only have been managed with air support. Suspecting a single gang is behind them all he seeks to infiltrate and then capture the gang in action.
  • The adventure wanders from England to Australia to Monte Carlo, before a climax in the gang's hideout in the african desert. With thanks to Bertie (going undercover) and Marcel (his first case with Biggles) the gang is captured and/or killed trying to escape.
