Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. A previously unknown tale discovered in 1983. The story of Mili who is sent into the forest by her mother to save her from a terrible war. She is given shelter by an old man and serves him faithfully for what she thinks are three days but are in fact thirty years. Large oblong format. Grey cloth with gilt title to spine and embossed vignette to front cover. Colour illustrations.

A little fading to very cover edges. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Wrapper has a few grubby marks; some edge-creasing.
