A Jilly Family story. The Jillies start for Scotland but decide to leave the train when it is snowbound at Shap in Westmorland. Grey cloth with silver titles to spine. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. 231 pages. Bumping to spine and corners. Book leans a little to one side. Spine is slightly darkened. Top of text block is grubby. Occasional light margin marks otherwise contents are very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn with several tears and some areas of loss. Spine is faded. Rear panel is grubby.
