Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with a little loss; creased and grubby.

These volumes are copy no. 20. Spines are faded; now look green. Some bumping and wear to cover edges and corners. A little brown spotting to covers. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Names in ink to front endpapers. Page browning; some foxing. The books appear to have been restitched at one time - bindings are nice and tight.

ISBN: 1873968442. Front joint is a bit cracked. Two pop-up/moveable pieces have come unglued - but could be repaired with double-sided sticky tape. Many inserts present and original sticker sheet - but no list to discover if any are missing - assumed all present. Wrapper is faded to spine with some edge-creasing.

B/w photos. 204 pages.Colquhon was a surrealist painter, she was also a prolific author, poet and playwright. Top edge of front board slightly worn, small dent to rear board. Contents fine. Wrapper price-cut, edge-torn with some loss and one inch piece of surface damage to front where label has been removed.
