Large oblong format. Cloth spine, pictorial front cover. 5 beautiful fold-down full-page chromo-lithographed layered scenes. B/w illustrations. Board corners worn with some surface loss; spine scuffed at top & tail with fading and slight fraying of cloth. Boards a little scuffed and marked. Hinges strengthened with bookbinding tape. One pop-up scene is edge creased, with corner repair. Scattered foxing.

Base of spine frayed. Name in belongs to box. Front and rear joint cracked. Hinges pulled wide but binding still tight. Rust/grease mark to gutter edges of page 11-19 (see photo). Brown mark to page 10 & facing page 11 affects illustrations only. A few light fingermarks to contents.
