The Bunnykin Books series. Light brown boards with colour onlay to front and brown cloth to spine, 8 x 6". 8 gorgeous colour plates, most of fairies, some reminiscent of the flower fairies of Cicely Mary Barker. 56 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine. Corners bumped and a couple of small bumps to cover edges. A couple of tiny marks to covers. Belongs to box on both endpapers completed in pen with inscription. Browning to endpapers. One hinge starting to crack. A few fingermarks/marks and odd fox spot to contents. Very small tear to bottom of one plate alongside spine, 1/4", crease alongside. All plates present. Dustwrapper is worn, torn and creased with some loss, extensive repairs on verso. Front flap possibly been detached at some point. Also a bit grubby with surface paper damage.

Large format. Blue cloth spine with gilt title. Marble-effect boards with white title-label to front cover. 8 beautiful colour and 8 beautiful b/w plates plus some b/w text illustrations. 94 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Slight rubbing to cover edges. Prize plate to front endpaper. Light foxing and page browning to contents which are otherwise clean. Also includes a prospectus for "The Troubles of a Gnome" by Zofja Kossak Szczucka (illustrated by Folkard). Scarce original dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with slight loss and a bit grubby/foxed.

Large, heavy format. Blue-green cloth with elaborate gilt decoration to front cover and gilt title and decorations to spine. 32 beautiful colour plates with captioned tissue guards. 378 pages, top edge gilt. Large format. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. A few very light marks to covers. Endpapers lightly browned. Front joint is cracked as are a couple of hinges. Small piece of surface paper damage to page 100 and verso of plate where possibly pages were lightly stuck together. Foxing throughout else contents clean. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Very large format - 18 x 14". Red spine, pictorial boards. Gorgeous colour pictures of fairies plus colour decorations surrounding text. Due to the size of this book, if posted, it will need to be sent via courier and may incur extra shipping costs. Corners are worn, with a little chipping to a couple. Tiny spots of surface paper damage to first page. Page edges are browned. Odd margin mark. Pictorial wrapper has been stregthened to edges with 2" wide sticky tape. A few closed tears to wrapper, which is grubby and edge-worn, but complete because of tape repair. Illustrations are beautifully bright.

A Panorama Picture Book of Fairy Stories. Nister book 633. Six stunning three-dimensional stand-up scenes. Large oblong format. Green cloth spine, colour pictorial paper boards. Front cover shows the Babes in the Wood riding on a leaf in the air harnessed to a pair of robins. Green/white floral endpapers. Spine has been rebacked with red cloth. Corners and cover edges are worn. There is some scuffing to the covers. Front free-endpaper is missing. Inscription in ink to top margin of title-page. One page has a large closed tear which has been neatly repaired. From the pop-up scenes there are some flowers missing at the top of the fairy's oar (in the swan picture) and the giant is missing from behind Jack (in the Jack and the Giant picture) otherwise the pop-ups are complete, bright and in excellent working order. The text pages are well fingered and thus a little grubby. A decent copy of a scarce pop-up book.

Some browning to covers, with a few marks. Couple of corners bumped, with very tiny amount of chipping and fraying to cloth on a couple. Light foxing/browning to endpapers, outer page edges and a few to contents. A few plates have grubby margin marks, with one plate having a little edge-chipping and a closed edge tear (though it doesn't affect picture). Still a lovely copy of this book. Reduced from £400.
