Covers are edge worn and slightly grubby, spine is worn at top and tail and is slightly grubby. Inscription in ink to front fly-leaf. Grubby fingermarks to page margins throughout.

Light grey cloth with blue decorations to front cover. 19 tipped-in colour plates plus b/w portrait of Dulac. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some spotting to covers. Partially erased inscription in ink to front pastedown. Foxing throughout; also to plate mount pages, but plates are still fine!
To which is added A Compendious Kennel Stud Book (1840). Large format. Green cloth with gilt titles and red title label to spine. B/w illustrations. Rebacked, with original spine laid down and what appear to be original endpapers reused. Uneven fading to covers. Bumping to edges and corners. Bookplate to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Margin marks.

Edge creasing to a couple of plates. One plate has been torn out, with jagged edge and taped back in with sticky tape.
