Top corner torn from last page in book, it is stuck to pastedown. Dustwrapper is edge worn with price label to front flap and remains of tiny white label on rear flap.
Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w plates. Boards clean. Tape marks to endpapers. 'xmas 1960' written in ink neatly to front endpaper. Contents otherwise clean.

Dark cloth boards, yellow title to spine. 247 pages. Folding maps. The break-through at Zojila was one of the three most crucial battles fought by the Indian Army in 1947-48. Some wrinkling of pastedowns, and stain to lower edge of pages near spine. Damp stain to lower edge of wrapper, which is faded at spine. Contents generally very good.
