Eighth edition, revised and enlarged. Blue cloth, gilt title to spine, blind title to front. xxi and 1244 pages including index. Part I: Workshop Practice; Part II: Theory and Examples. Numerous b/w diagrams and folding plates. Spine worn and rubbed at edges, boards rubbed. Joints split and free front endpaper (with presentation plate) detached as a result. Crossed out name in ink and red rubber stamped name to half-title page. Red rubber stamped name also to top of first chapter. Edges of some of the folding plates are worn (all plates present). Text block is browned and also page edges. A few pulled hinges but contents generally sound.
