Large oblong format. Three-quarter green morocco binding with pictorial boards. 23 b/w plates. Subtitled: Or Extracts from the Journal of the Hon. Impulsia Gushington. No author noted but believed to be Helena Selina Blackwood - Baroness Dufferin and Claneboye a well known British songwriter, composer and author. In this book she pokes fun at the gushings of lady travel writers! Book: book plate to front endpaper. Top of spine chipped, covers browned. Foxing throughout, plates generally clean but foxed to margins. Plate 23 has been re-inserted with tape.

Contained in original slipcase which is well worn but has done it's job and kept the book/dustwrapper nice.
