Green pictorial cloth with red titles to front board and black titles to spine. 24 colour illustrations. 103 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine a little faded and browned. White marks to rear board. Boards are grubby. Front joint badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Rear joint and several hinges cracked making the binding a little loose. Bottom of most pages detached. Pencil scribble to front endpaper and a couple of blank pages. 'The End' and some pencil lines to last text page. A few small edge tears. Grubby marks and some foxing to contents.

Some nibbling to board edges, especially bottom edges and lower front corner. Spine browned with split to bottom. A couple of marks to rear cover. Endpapers foxed. Contents clean and bright. Dustwrapper has loss, mainly from bottom of front panel and alongside top of spine, nibbling to folds, edge wear. Front panel and spine browned. Flaps foxed. Wrapper browned and foxed on verso.
