An illustrated story book for children. Cloth spine, pictorial front board. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. First story is "The Door in the Wall" by M.A. Hoyer. 152 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some chipping along edges. Front endpaper appears to be MISSING. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Some foxing throughout. 8 colour plates are present.
The Playtime Series. Cloth spine, oval on front cover shows three children on gate, goose below, daisies in corners, red and green titles. Colour frontis plus b/w illustrations. No. 3404 Spine bumped and worn. Heavy wear to corners. Covers a bit grubby. Joints cracked, rear one badly. Prize plate to front pastedown. One hinge cracked. Some light foxing, browning and an odd mark to contents.
A calendar for the year 1912. Beautiful chromolithographs. 6 x 4.5". White cloth spine. Cream covers with blue titles and decoration. Colour chromolithographs. Green illustrations on pages with verses and months. Covers slightly grubby with a little bubbling to front cover and faint stains, looks like been splashed with water. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Staples strating to rust. Contents clean and colours bright.
Red cloth spine. Colour pictorial front board shows two children reading. Beautiful colour chromolithographs plus other illustrations. Small format 7.5 x 6". Short stories and rhymes. A little wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Spine darkened. Rear cover slightly grubby. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Some surface paper damage to bottom of title page, looks to have been lightly stuck to blank page opposite. Contents very slightly pulled. Light browning to endpapers and contents otherwise clean.

Spine bumped and worn with 0.5" split to front edge. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers grubby with marks and scratches. Both joints cracked. One sheet (4 pages) loose, have become detached from rusty staples. Prize plate to front pastedown, bookseller's ink stamp to rear pastedown. Pages edge browned with a few marks and fingermarks. Chromos still bright.

No. 5081. Chunky format (4cm thick). Red cloth spine, pictorial front board shows girl whispering in boy's ear. First story is "Peace With Honour" by Geraldine Glasgow. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations (including one Wain cat plate accompanying a verse called "All Afloat" by Clifton Bingham. Reprint, no date. Minimal bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Contents lightly browned with some foxing and an odd mark. One hinge cracked.
No. 10. An anthology of stories and rhymes. Cloth spine, pictorial front board shows boy and girl with baskets of yellow flowers (boy is leading dog who is carrying basket!). Mounted colour frontis plate. B/w and two-tone illustrations throughout. First rhyme is "A Little Song". Spine bumped. Corners a bit worn. Rear cover is slightly browned with a couple of tiny patches of surface paper damage to centre. Contents are browned but otherwise clean.

First story is "The Lost Lamb". Spine slightly bumped and rubbed, small hole to centre of spine. Corners worn. Covers a bit grubby and scuffed. Prize inscription in ink to front endpaper. Contents are foxed and browned and slightly fingered otherwise clean.

Foxing and fingering and some page edge browning to contents, small edge tear to front free-endpaper.
