A book of stories and verses. Large format. Cloth spine with pictorial front board showing children in a cart being pulled by a donkey. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations throughout. First story is "The Goose Step". Stains to both bottom corners and top edge of rear cover. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Rear cover is mottled. Inscription in ink to top edge of front endpaper. Browning to endpapers and page edges. One hinge cracked. Light creasing to top inside corner of all pages. Just an odd mark to contents.
A reproduction from an Antique Book by Ernest Nister. Original published in 1892. Pictures changed by moving the tab. Glazed boards. ISBN: 0001956477. Spine a little bumped. Creasing to the laminate on the rear board. Slight bumping to edge of front cover. All revolving pictures in very good working order.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges scuffed and worn. Some scratches and marks to rear board. One hinge practically broken, just holding on by a few threads. Prize presentation inscription to verso of endpaper. Some small tears at inner margin. Page edges browned. A few light foxspots mainly to endpapers.

Decorative endpapers. Nister no. 853. Spine bumped and worn. Corners bumped and very worn. Board edges are scuffed. Boards are scratched and a bit grubby. Front joint cracked. Endpapers and page edges browned. Staples rusty. One page, which has ragged edges, is detached. 4" tear to last page of text plus other smaller tears to page edges and margins. Light colouring to several illustrations. Some fingering to contents. Horse's tail slightly creased in second pop-up, and couple of small patches of surface paper damage in deer pop-up. Other pop-ups nice and bright.
