A limited and numbered reproduction of the 1937 Rupert annual. 123 pages. Red cloth spine, pictorial paper boards. Red and black illustrations throughout. ISBN: 0850791650. Spine is bumped to top and tail. Some bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. This is Copy No. 4639. Belongs to box is clean. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Original paper wraparound band is still present - in good condition; has some fading and large repaired tear.

The second Rupert annual. Colour pictorial boards showing Rupert and chums on a bridge. 1st story Rupert and the Snow Machine. Red cloth spine, black lettering. 124 pages. 7.5x10". Red and black illustrations throughout. Edges rubbed, corners worn. Spine is still nice and red, not faded as can be the case. Covers a little grubby. Front joint cracked, red spine cloth binding showing through. '1937' written in ink to front pastedown, name in belongs to box. Colouring to page 30. Foxing and grubby marks to contents. Small chip to vertical margin of page 13. Tear to gutter edge of page 31. One hinge pulled. Page 111 detached. A few closed margin tears. A good working copy.

Small split at top of spine which unusually has not faded. Name in belongs to box erased, inscription in ink above. Front joint and bottom of rear joint cracked as are some hinges. A few small margin tears. One page edge creased and grubby. Foxing and fingermarks throughout, mainly to margins.

Red and black illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges worn. 1.5" pencil mark to front cover. Covers are slightly grubby. Joints are cracked. Name and date in ink in belongs to box. Child's pencil and pen scribbles/doodles to pastedowns and title-page and on verso. Contents are well fingered with a number of small tears or lost corners (no loss of text or images). Illustratons on 10 pages have been partly colour (not very well) with watercolour or crayon. A good copy.
