Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows boy and girl pulling a girl (with teddy bear) in a sledge (plate is duplicated inside). 288 pages. Colour plates mounted on green paper, b/w illustrations throughout. First story is "The Golden Passports" by Lee. Covers are edge worn. Spine has been rebacked with red cloth. There is a section of surface paper missing to lower corner of rear cover. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Name plate to verso of frontis. Tiny booksellers sticker to rear pastedown. Page corner tips are creased and there is some light fingering to page margins.

Spine bumped and grubby. Covers edge worn. Rear cover is grubby and spotted. Front joint is almost broken, rear joint cracked. Page browning and some fingering to margins.

Spine covered with clear tape, clear tape also used to reinforce the joints inside. Some hinges cracked/pulled causing contents to be a little loose but still tightly bound.
