Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Piece of loss/hole to top corner of spine. Some scuffing to covers. Name in ink to front endpaper. Rear joint is pulled. Foxing and browning, mostly to outer page edges.

Grey/green title to front cover. 75 tissue-guarded colour plates. 1" split to top of spine, which is very browned with wear. Rest of covers are unevenly faded with wear; bumping to corners. Foxing. Some guards are browned. Light browning to plate margins.

A few marks to covers. Black mark to top edge of outer page edges (over gilt). Joints are a little cracked. Small damp marks along top edge and bottom corner of front endpaper. Some foxing and marks throughout. Light browning to plate margins.

Bumping to corners. Some scuffing. Front joint is pulled. Newspaper cutting has been stuck to the rear pastedown. Some browning and foxing.

Spine is browned with a few chips and splits to top; some fraying to cloth. Corners are bumped. A bit of scuffing to rear cover. Inscription in pencil to front endpaper. Joints are starting to crack a little. Some foxing and browning.

The 1st printings of this title did NOT have these 4 page booklists, but assumed an early reprint in same year as first. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spotting to covers. Browning to spine. Prelims are roughly opened - one b/w plate has margin tears/ragged edges. Small nick to edge of frontis. Some foxing and browning.
