He is followed by a travelling balloon that winks and yawns; and a sandcastle he helps to build on the beach is soon inhabited by a variety of sea creatures. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. ISBN: 0340104430. SIGNED by the author (with best wishes from) to half-title page. Lower front edge of boards bumped.A few minor marks to text block and margins. Pictorial dustwrapper is grubby, faded to spine, surface paper damage to front panel, slight loss to rubbed corners, rear panel crinkled by damp but not stained.
