New Naturalist series no. 31. Green cloth. 6 x 8.5". 272 pages. A new and unusual portrait of our islands. 35 colour photos, 46 b/w photos, 52 illustrations in the text. A little bumping to top corner of front board. Minor mottling to rear board. Some foxing mainly to text block and rear endpapers. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly rubbed and worn at corners with minor loss, some foxing, a few grubby marks.

Spine bumped with fading to top and tail. Corners bumped and worn. Inscription in ink in belongs to box. Small amount of loss to corner of one page. Light foxing to endpapers. Grubby fingermarks to page margins.
