Colour pictorial boards. Colour and two-tone illustrations. Some fade marks to spine, which also has 1" loss to top and smaller chips and nicks to base. Joints have been strengthened with white paper tape. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. A few grubby marks to endpapers. Foxing to outer page edges. Binding/stitching is starting to come loose, so that binding is now weak. Wrapper is very torn and chipped with loss, but picture to front panel is still complete.

Wrapper is torn in two pieces down spine, with pieces of loss to spine and edges and corners. Wrapper is also foxed and browned.

Dustwrapper is edge worn with large tear across the front panel (very neatly repaired), some foxing and damp staining which is mainly visible on verso.
