Covers a little grubby. Name in ink to front endpaper and pencil writing to pastedown. Front joint cracked by index and first page of index is partially detached. One gathering pulled with ragged edges. Foxing and browning to pages and plates, worst at edges. All plates present.

Large piece of bottom corner of page 33/34 torn off affecting very bottom of illustration and text on page 34. Large closed tear to page 41/2 mended with sticky tape. Some margin tears. Some grubby marks. Neat colouring to a few illustrations.

Name in pen and pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. First couple of gatherings pulled. Contents generally clean with some light foxing and browning.
