Cloth spine, cream boards. Pictorial front board with blue title. Blue floral decorated endpapers. Mounted colour frontis of a lion and a monkey (not by Wain). Numerous b/w and two-tone illustrations of cats throughout (by Wain). Nister No. 742. Covers slightly scuffed and worn to spine and corners. Endpapers browned. Front joint is partly cracked. Some page browning and fingering. Some small margin tears and some corner creases. Still a decent copy of a scarce book.
