Contains a SIGNED letter from the author (to the binder?). Spine bumped. Slight mark to top corner of front cover. Some light foxing and page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with small tears at corners and slightly grubby to rear panel. "Collins Young Elizabethan Book of the Month" wrapround label to wrapper (loose).

Paul Hunter might have helped, he could have welcomed her to Wethersham, but Paul, for some reason, seemed determined to be difficult. Purple/blue boards with silver titles to spine. 238 pages.
