Pictorial front cover shows two young ladies in cloche hats carrying Christmas presents. Pictorial spine. Orange and grey endpapers showing an Arabian scene. 6 colour plates, b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Cover edges rubbed. Name plate to front pastedown. Endpapers partly browned. Foxing to contents and textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some loss to top edge of rear panel, foxed on verso with some light foxing showing through to front panel.

Old price to front free-endpaper (blotted out with pencil). Scarce dustwrapper is grubby, foxed, worn and torn with tape repairs on verso. Small section of loss to lower edge of rear cover has been patched with paper of similar colour.

Beige cloth, blue titles and vignettes. First story is "The Family Streak" by Grey. Also includes "The Monster of Loch Shee" by D.F. Bruce. 4 colour plates. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped, slight browning to spine and lower edge of front cover. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Tiny booksellers sticker as well. Heavy foxing else contents clean. Scarce dustwrapper is browned and slightly grubby, worn to edges with creasing to top of spine.

First story is 'The Sea-Eagle' Nest' by Francklyn. Spine browned, bumped and worn with a little loss from top edge of onlay. Wear to corners and cover edges. Uneven fading and a few marks to covers. A couple of hinges cracked. A little foxing, mainly to text block. One plate partially detached.
