This is the Five's 12th adventure, where they spend the summer at Tremannon Farm, with it's mysterious deserted tower by the sea and the forgotten secret of the Wreckers way. Red boards with black lettering. Blue/black endpapers. B/w and two-tone illustrations throughout. 191 pages. 3rd impression. Spine bumped with slight fading to top and tail. Name and address in ink to verso of front fly-leaf. Foxing to textblock. Some erased pencil markings to front fly-leaf. Dustwrapper is edge chipped and creased with slight loss. Damp stain to base of wrapper spine. Vertical crease to edge of front flap of wrapper. Wrapper is browned/foxed on verso.
