Backstrip is detached but still present. Joints are worn showing webbing. Child's name in pencil and pencil lines to front free-endpaper, neat name and date in ink to same page. Heavy foxing and fingering to endpapers and textblock.

Dustwrapper is edge worn with several tears, some of which have been mended on verso with white paper. Wrapper is grubby. Light damp markings to verso.
