- Summer hols again and everybody at Greyfriars looks set to have a really good time including the Famous Five who have been invited by Tom Brown to go to New Zealand on his father's airline. Only Bunter is left out. Convinced that it is just a slip of memory that he hadn't been invited causes Bunter to find ways of accompanying them. But even Bunter's vivid imagination could hardly conceive of the adventures that resulted including one that saw the fat chump of Greyfriars made king of a cannibal island: Big Chief Bunter, lord of the castle and cock of the walk whose every food filled whim is law and to whom even the Famous Five had to bow.
