Almost very good condition. Four volume set. Pictorial cloth, gilt. Colour & b/w illustrations. The Babylonians by Saggs; The Egyptians by Gardiner; The Persians by Cook; The Hittites by Gurney.

Second printing. Books themselves are lovely and clean, top edge of text block is lightly browned (minor). Contained in publisher's slipcase which is badly split at ends and is faded at edges, small piece of loss to paper covering to one lower edge.
