Allied prisoners of war on Taiwan faced starvation, beatings, torture, slave labour. There was an additional terror on Taiwan known as the 'hell mine' of Kinkaseki where the prisoners slaved underground in conditionss of extreme danger to dig the copper ore... Black boards, red title to spine. B/w photos.
