Almost very good condition. Large format. Pages: xiii, 218. Original blue cloth with white-stamped design (of two doves) and black title to front, gilt title and decoration to spine. Top edge blue, others untrimmed. 20 tipped-in colour plates mounted on grey card with captioned tissue-guards plus decorated initial letters.
Spine bumped with wear and some loss of cloth at top edge. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Small hole to cloth on lower edge of rear cover. A few small marks to covers including white spots. Browning to spine and some edges. Name in ink to front endpaper. Front joint cracked by half-title page. Some light browning and foxing throughout. All plates present and in very good condition.
