Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. A thrilling story set in and around Whitby and the moors of North Yorkshire. Blue boards, gilt titles and author signature vignette to front. Endpapers are maps. B/w illustrations. 216 pages.

A few light marks to covers. Surface paper damage to front pastedown and front endpaper, where it used to have some school library bookplates; rest of contents are excellent. Wrapper is faded to spine, with edge-creasing and some scuffing.
