Almost very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. A collection of ten enchanting tales of varying lengths for five to nine year-olds. Green boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 130 pages.

SIGNED by the author with dedication and a drawing to title page. Child's name & room number in black pen to front pastedown. Heavy foxing to text block and edge of prelims. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed with a closed tear repaired to verso with clear tape so that it is barely visible to rear panel.
