THE LAST LANC'

by Patrick Kilvington

Published by Boolarong Publications. 1st. 1982

Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. In 1965 a crew of eleven volunteers flew a wornout war-time Lancaster bomber from Sydney to Biggin Hill, England, a distance of over 12,000 miles, in order that the aircraft could take its place with other vintage aircraft in a British museum. At that time, it was the last Lancaster remaining in flying condition. Blue boards, white title to spine. B/w photos.

Top & tail of spine and lower edges lightly rubbed. Lower front corner bumped. Spine slightly cocked. Contents clean. Blue dustwrapper is edge-rubbed, scuffed to rear panel.
