Slightly better than very good condition. The story of the Daniell brothers' voyages from London to Canton in 1786 and return via India in 1794, when China was a very exotic and relatively unknown destination. Edited and introduced by Katherine Prior. 3/4 buckram cloth with pictorial front board and gilt title. Large oblong format. Endpapers are maps. Full page colour illustrations throughout. xix and 329 pages including index.
Tiny crease and erased pencil mark to half title-page else a fine copy. Slipcase is a little scuffed and has a split to one of the top edges.
