So the Mayor offered a large reward to the first person who could clear the rats away... Pictorial paper boards. Colour pictorial endpapers showing Pied Piper leading the rats away. Colour & b/w illustrations. REDUCED from £120. 0.5" loss to top of backstrip affecting 'T' in 'The', base of spine worn. Corners worn. Covers still nice and bright. Minor foxing to endpapers. Some colouring to some b/w illustrations. A few grubby marks to margins. Verso of pictorial wrapper is foxed. Pictorial wrapper is in two halves, spine of wrapper is torn, overall wrapper is edge-worn and torn with a some loss. Overall a nice copy of a scarce item.
