Illustrated by William Dreghorn
Published by David & Charles. 1st. 1968
Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The purpose of this book is to explain geology in terms of scenery in an area which is not only of outstanding scenic beauty but in which can also be found almost every known rock formation in Britain. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 196 pages including index.
Boards clean. Text block has some foxing, mostly to the top edge. Couple of top corner creases (again, minor). Otherwise contents generally clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed, damp stained and grubby.
