Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Some page browning. Belongs to box completed in ink. Crossword attempted. Couple of margin pages have small tears. Original glassine wrapper is still present; 1" loss to base of spine; other small chips of loss to corners: still very good for age and fragility!

The second Rupert annual. Colour pictorial boards showing Rupert and chums on a bridge. 1st story Rupert and the Snow Machine. Red cloth spine, black lettering. 124 pages. 7.5x10". Red and black illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges worn. 1.5" pencil mark to front cover. Covers are slightly grubby. Joints are cracked. Name and date in ink in belongs to box. Child's pencil and pen scribbles/doodles to pastedowns and title-page and on verso. Contents are well fingered with a number of small tears or lost corners (no loss of text or images). Illustratons on 10 pages have been partly colour (not very well) with watercolour or crayon. A good copy.
