Very good condition.
Laminated pictorial boards. Front cover has head and shoulders of Rupert with sea in the background. First story is Rupert and the Copper Bird. Light browning to boards, base of spine lightly worn. Boards are slightly bowed. NOT price-cut or inscribed. Puzzle pages and colouring contest clean. Musty odour present otherwise a very nice copy.

Small format. Brown chequerboard design with colour onlay to front. 24 colour plates. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Slight foxing to lower cover edges. Very neat inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Some foxspots to textblock. Price-cut wrapper is slightly worn at spine and corners with minimal loss, small closed tear to top corner of front panel.

Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Some light foxing (mainly at textblock) else a nice copy. In white pictorial dustwrapper which is slightly grubby and has loss to spine and corners.

Cream cloth boards, green titles, large pictorial onlay to front cover shows young boy picking a rose up from the road that has been dropped by a young girl clutching a handful of roses. Green & white fairy ring to endpapers. B/w illustrations to margins. 101 pages. First story is The Golliwog's Lesson. Spine and corners bumped, a couple of small dents to cover edges. Spine is bumped and rubbed. Damp stains to edge of front cover. Tiny piece of loss to top corner tip of front free-endpaper. A couple of small margin tears to prelims. Light foxing to prelims and textblock. Some grubby fingermarks and some large foxspots to pages but generally contents clean.

Some page browning and fingering. Some small margin tears and some corner creases. Still a decent copy of a scarce book.

Some small margin tears and one page has a large repaired tear (very neat repair). Small patch of surface paper loss to lower edge of one full-page b/w illustration. Light vertical crease to one page. Generally a very decent copy of a scarce book.

Child's pencil name in belongs to box. Price cut. Pale brown marks to pages 6/7. Endpapers lightly browned. Some small margin tears and 1 larger repaired tear to page71. Some very slight colouring to the Draw and Paint pages. Colouring contest has been completed with pencil crayons, entry form not completed.
