The Thirteenth Secret Seven story in which quarrels threaten to disband the Secret Seven. But dog-thieves are at work in the village so the children turn detective. Pale blue boards decorated with SS symbol. Two-tone and b/w illustrations. Bumping to spine and corners. Spine browned. Couple of marks to boards. Front joint beginning to crack. Inscription in ink to belongs to box. Some foxing to page edges and a little light fingering to margins. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears and creasing. 3.5" tear to front panel has been mended on verso with tape. Some marks to wrapper. Browning to verso.

A couple of tiny, light spots to spine. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Some light foxing to endpapers. Top edge of textblock is dusty and foxed. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with 1" loss to top of spine (and spine edge of front panel), minimal loss to base of spine.
