Creasing to rear endpaper. Small booksellers sticker to rear pastedown. A few foxspots and a couple of grubby marks otherwise contents are generally clean. Dustwrapper is worn and torn with areas of loss at bottom of spine, top of rear panel and bottom of rear flap. Creasing to both panels and flap. Couple of pen marks at bottom of front flap. Grubby marks to rear panel.

Beautiful colour and b/w illustrations. Light bumping to spine and corners. Name in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing and page browning. Small piece of sticky label to front endpaper, with surface paper damage, where rest has been removed. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with creasing and foxing; some long tears have repairs to verso; loss to a few corners and top of spine.

Some episodes in a Mis-spent Youth. Green pictorial boards with typical Aldin full page illustrations. Covers are edge worn, scuffed with 8 d tape marks across the spine/covers (see photos). Spine covering is chipped with loss. 8 old tape marks across the joints of the books which have browned and affect the prelims and last few pages. There is also sticky fabric reinforcing the joints. Staples are rusty. Joint between frontis and title-page is cracked. Contents are foxed, grubby and lightly browned. Not as bad as it sounds! Still a decent copy.

A few foxspots and a light stain to edge of textblock. Dustwrapper is edge chipped and rubbed with minimal loss and is a little grubby on rear panel.
