Mottled red boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations and distribution map. 336 pages including index. ISBN: 0856610143. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Scuffing along a couple of cover edges. Small white name and address label to front endpaper. Some foxing. Wrapper is grubby with edge-creasing and small nicks; a little damp staining along bottom edge.

This account of the island, it flora and fauna, its inhabitants and history is weighted in favour of the birds since the island offers much of exceptional ornithological interest. A fine copy in a blue wrapper which is rubbed at edges and corners, a little scuffed and has a small closed tear to top of front edge of spine.
