Tracing the Bedford story to its roots in the early years of the formation of the huge General Motors group in America, the foundation of the Chevrolet marque and its transformation by General Motors into the challenger which eventually overtook the hitherto all-conquering Ford as the world's largest producer of cars and commercial vehicles. Large format. Glazed pictorial boards. B/w photos, with a few colour images at front. ISBN: 1898432066. Small knock to lower rear edge. Contents printed on glossy paper and thus some facing pages have stuck together and been prised apart leaving slight surface paper damage (not obliterating any text).
