Oblong format. Yellow pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. Small splits at top and tail of spine. Lower corner tips very slightly creased. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and grubby, pink stain to front panel (a couple of smaller pink spots to both panels), small piece torn from lower corner of front flap. Covers are slightly curved (book doesn't sit flat on the desk).

So the Mayor offered a large reward to the first person who could clear the rats away... Pictorial paper boards. Colour pictorial endpapers showing Pied Piper leading the rats away. Colour & b/w illustrations. REDUCED from £120. 0.5" loss to top of backstrip affecting 'T' in 'The', base of spine worn. Corners worn. Covers still nice and bright. Minor foxing to endpapers. Some colouring to some b/w illustrations. A few grubby marks to margins. Verso of pictorial wrapper is foxed. Pictorial wrapper is in two halves, spine of wrapper is torn, overall wrapper is edge-worn and torn with a some loss. Overall a nice copy of a scarce item.

A few foxspots to contents but generally near fine. Scarce original dustwrapper is in two halves, browned, and torn at edges with loss to top 1/3 of spine and to lower rear corner.
